Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress who hails from Manama, Bahrain and was raised in a multi-ethnic home. Her father Elroy is from Sri Lanka (Catholic Sinhalese) and her mother Kim is a Malaysian. Jacqueline is the oldest of two siblings and a younger sibling. Padukone was the daughter of badminton star Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and raised in Bangalore. As a teenager, she competed at national-level badminton events, but she backed off the sport and became a fashion designer. Padukone is a native of Mangalore, Indian. Her native language Konkani is where she comes from. Her ancestors come from the village Padukone located in Kundapura Taluk, in the Udupi district in Karnataka state in India. Prakash Padukone's father was an international badminton player who has retiring. Her mother is a traveling agent.
